The Chairless Chair allows for quick, easy and flexible changes between sitting, walking & standing
Rising sick leave and increasing costs caused by musculoskeletal disorders present companies with an ever-growing challenge. With the Chairless Chair from noonee, a solution was found to maintain and further promote the work ability and productivity of employees. In companies where the physical work force is an important factor, it is all the more important to prevent these illnesses in a targeted and timely manner.
Ergonomic workplace design without major changes
With the Chairless Chair from noonee, the hours of unhealthy standing at work can be remedied. The passive exoskeleton allows alternate standing, sitting and walking without the need to change the workplace. With the chairless chair, work is easier and the employees go home less tired and less exhausted.
Supporting the workforce with simple means
During work, the employee carries the mechanical assistance system, which can be loaded with a weight of up to 120 kilograms, like a second pair of legs. The chairless chair is worn on the back of the legs, with straps attached to the hips, thighs and work shoes.
The chairless chair has joints at knee height and can be easily adjusted to the height of the employee (between 150 and 200 cm) and to the desired sitting position and height. This enables, for example, the exoskeleton to be used across shifts together with colleagues.
The passive exoskeleton enables the employee to sit temporarily in an ergonomically favourable position instead of standing. This relieves the legs and supports an upright sitting posture. Due to the low weight of around 3 kg and the well thought-out design, the CE-certified assistance system does not interfere with walking and standing.
